Successful catheter ablation of focal ventricular tachycardia originating from right bundle branch without making right bundle branch block, using pharmacologic induction by landiolol

چکیده
Introduction Right ventricular outflow tract tachycardia is one of the most common ventricular tachycardia (VT) observed in young patients, accounting for 60%–80% of all idiopathic VTs. The QRS morphology of this tachycardia is left bundle branch block (LBBB) type, inferior axis, and wide QRS complex. In contrast, focal VT originating from the right bundle branch (RBB) is a rare idiopathic VT. Here we report the successful catheter ablation of focal VT originating from the RBB (RBB-VT), the QRS morphology of which is LBBB type, inferior axis, and narrow QRS complex.

Premature ventricular contractions with two QRS morphologies originate from one focus in great cardiac vein
It has been demonstrated that catheter ablation may be a reliable technique for curing ventricular arrhythmias originating from the great cardiac vein (GCV), and there are some challenges and risks with this therapeutic method. Although some reports described successful catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardias originating from the GCV, premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) with left bu...
متن کاملTreatment of ventricular tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy by transcatheter radiofrequency ablation.
Catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardia was successfully performed in a patient with dilated cardiomyopathy (ejection fraction 38%) and a long history of repetitive palpitations. Holter monitoring showed ventricular tachycardia that had a left bundle branch block QRS configuration with inferior axis deviation and was present for about one third of the daytime hours. At electrophysiological...
متن کاملRadiofrequency catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardia originating in the left posterior and left anterior fascicles in a patient with prior myocardial infarction.
A 61-year-old man with prior anteroseptal myocardial infarction (ejection fraction: 40%) presented with recurrent episodes of palpitations. Twelve-lead ECG during palpitations showed an incessant ventricular tachycardia (VT1) with right bundle branch block (RBBB) morphology and inferior axis. Electrophysiologic study revealed that the clinical VT originated from the anterolateral left ventricle...

OBJECTIVE To report experience with radiofrequency catheter ablation of fascicular tachycardia including two cases of the rare type of this arrhythmia which arises from the anterior fascicle of the left bundle branch. DESIGN Review of results of radiofrequency ablation in nine consecutive patients presenting with fascicular tachycardia. SETTING Regional cardiac centre. INTERVENTION Percut...
متن کاملCatheter ablation of premature ventricular contractions originating from aortic sinus cusps in a patient with dextrocardia and situs solitus
BACKGROUND Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) originating from aortic sinus cusps is not infrequent and can be eliminated effectively by radiofrequency ablation with rare complications. However, after a review of the medical literature, and to our knowledge, this is the first case of successful idiopathic aortic sinus cusps-PVC-ablation using a 3-dimensional (3D) mapping system in an adu...
